This is 1 more shell stitch pattern in our summer top series. This is a easy and nice pattern for summer tops, bolero, shawl, scarf, baby blanket, edging, frock frills etc. here is a step by step tutorial of this stitch.
abbreviations:
Ch – chain
dc – double crochet
special st - 7dc = shell
This pattern is a multiples of 12ch +5ch
Row 1: dc into the 6th ch from the hook, ch3 dc into the same ch skip 4 ch, into 5th ch,dc, ch3 ,dc and continue till end and 1dc into the last ch of the row.
Row 2: ch3 7dc into the ch3 sp and in all the ch3 sp of the row and 1 dc into the last st
Row 3: ch4, into the 4th ch of the shell of the previous row dc.ch3,dc and to all the 4th st of the shell of previous row till the end and 1 dcinto the last st
Row 4: ch3 7 dc into ch3 sp and all the ch 3 sp till end and 1 dc into the last st
continue working row 3 and 4 till the required measurement is reached .
