Hi, everyone this is the 6th variation in our shell stitch pattern for summer top series, this pattern can be used in making summer tops, shawls, scarfs,bags, purses, bolero, and many more.
Here is a step by step tutorial for this pattern
abbreviations:
Ch – chain
Sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
This pattern is multiples of 10 +4 ch
Row 1 : 1 dc into the 5th st from the hook, ch1, skip 3ch dc into next 3 ch, ch1 skip 3ch, 1dc into the next ch, ch3 and 1 dc into the same st, ch1 skip 3ch dc into next 3ch, continue till the end of the row .1dc ch1 and 1 dc into the last st.
Row 2: ch3, 3dcinto the same space, ch1 1 dc into the 2nd st of the previous row 3dc set, ch1 7 dc into the ch3 space, and continue till the end of the row. 4dc into the last space.
Row 3: ch3 1 dc into the next st, ch1 1dc-ch3-1dc into the dc of the previous row, ch1 3dc into the 3rd, 4th and 5th st of the shell and continue till the end of the row. 1 dc into the last 2 st .
Row 4 : ch4 7dc into the ch3 space , ch1 - 1dc- ch1 into the 3dc set and continue till end of the row. ch1 and 1dc into the last st.
Row 5: ch4 1dc into the beginning st, ch1 1dc into the 3rd, 4th and 5th st of the shell, ch1 1dc- ch3 1dc into the dc of the previous row ch 1 and continue till the end of the row. This is like row 1.
repeat row 2,3,4,5 till you reach the required measurement .
