Hi friends here is an useful information about crocheting that is Abbreviations used in the written pattern. It is very difficult for the beginners to follow the instructions when these abbreviations are mentioned, So this is my small attempt to help those people who are in need of this.
Ch - Chain
Sc - Single crochet
Hdc - half double crochet
Dc - double crochet
Tr - treble crochet / Triple crochet
Dtr - double treble crochet
Sl st - Slip stitch
Sk - skip
Cl - cluster stitch
Beg - beginning
Dec - decreasing
Inc - increasing
Rs - right side
Ws - wrong side
Sp - space
tog - together
Yo - yarn over
